Works of Nathaniel Hawthorne

From The Scarlet Letter, I chose Hester to save about. One of the formulas I confide she lives by is respecting privacy. Hester cerebrates everyone has a obligation to their privacy, everyone does non need to hold up everything about someone. For example when Hester is stand on the scaffold with her s learnr and is asked to identify the fetch of her child, she refuses. Hester believes it is not her right to reveal who the father is, it is the responsibility of the father to tint forward. Another teaching she lives by is assertion, mainly confidence in herself. For example withal as Hester is walking to the scaffold from prison house she still holds her head exalted and remains in full moon public view without shake off a tear. She also has confidence by decorating the scarlet earn with gold thread, a discolour that would shine in the lie and draw attention to it, even though it is not a symbol one would destiny to wear.\nA third principle I believe she lives by i s fealty and loyalty, she may have not been faithful or loyal to her husband plainly she is faithful and loyal to Dimmesdale. She shows her faithfulness to him by not reveal he is the father and her close to keep doing so unless he wishes. Hester also lives by the principle of candor, she shows her honesty by not denying her sin and standing on the scaffold in bm of all the towns hatful retentivity her head high. Hester also shows honesty when she told her husband, Chillingworth, she did not really have it away him even though she matrimonial him. She was honest and didnt believe him to believe she loved him from the start. One of the expiry principles I believe Hester lives by is determination and authorisation, she shows her determination and strength when she had the chance to take free fall and leave with Dimmesdale to sail to europium and pretend to have already been married and start over, only when Dimmesdale says no to this, she still rest even though people intercourse about her and talk down to her, and she is s...
